This November, Vermont will elect a new person to its single Congressional House seat, and on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 2pm, the Vermont branches of the NAACP will host a forum to help voters learn more about the candidates’ positions. All candidates were invited, and six confirmed they would attend: Becca Balint, Sianay Clifford, Molly Gray, Liam Madden, Louis Meyers, and Ericka Redic. Becca Balint and Liam Madden did participate; others chose not to attend.
“This is a critical moment for Vermont’s representation in Washington, and voters must have a clear understanding of their options for this election,” says Mia Schultz, president of the Rutland branch, who will moderate the panel, along with Windham Area branch president Steffen Gillom.
This free event will be filmed from Castleton University and livestreamed via Zoom.
