In honor of Women’s History and National Poetry Months, the Rutland Area NAACP is celebrating the remarkable work of BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color) poets. In addition to sharing the performances of established poets, we are seeking videos of Vermont’s BIWOC poets performing their original work!
We will be sharing these voices on our social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, in the coming months. The BIWOC Poet Series is one of the Rutland Area NAACP’s many initiatives highlighting the voices of the BIPOC population in Vermont.
