Saturday, July 22nd 1–3pm • ONE Church, 71 Williams Street, Rutland, VT
BIPOC Vermonters are invited to join the Rutland Area NAACP and the I Am Vermont Too photo-story project for an opportunity to add your voice to this state-wide collection. We are hosting a photo booth in preparation for an exhibit at the Castleton University Bank Gallery from Sept. 8th thru Nov. 4th.

The I Am Vermont Too photos represent self-identified BIPOC – Black, Indigenous, and People of Color – living and attending school in Vermont. The photos look to highlight the intersectionality of our communities of color and their many stories. The quotes in the pictures are either terms that have been conveyed to us since living in Vermont or are responses to terms, questions or statements made towards us that undermine us as a people and perpetuate racist stereotypes.
Participation is free and open to anyone who identifies as BIPOC. Please spread the word!
