We are heartsick over the demonstration of racism, white nationalism, and Nazism on display in Charlottesville, VA yesterday, and the violence and loss of life that resulted. We are taking this opportunity to invite our community to stand against racism and in support of their neighbors of color, those who are LGBTQ, and other communities that are threatened by this hateful rhetoric — and the physical intimidation and violence that accompanies it — in Virginia and across the country.
Please join us tomorrow, Monday, August 14 at 6:00pm at the Main Street Park in Rutland City. Please bring your friends and family and help us show that bigotry will not be tolerated in our community.
