The Rutland Area branch of the NAACP will have a table at National Night Out Rutland on August 1, 2017, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Giorgetti Athletic Complex.
This nation-wide event is an opportunity to strengthen connections between police and the communities they serve. We’ve been glad to see the active participation that local and state law enforcement have had in our group, and this event is another opportunity to bring police together with the people in the community, and to bring people in the community together, to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone.
The event is completely free and there will be lots of family-friendly activities, including bouncy houses, a slip n’ slide, entertainers, raffles, and more. Check out Rutland Rec’s Facebook event for more.
